I imagine there are loads of definitions as to what ‘art’ actually means and quite right. I think it is down to the individual to decide what art is to them. I have never been able to draw or paint so the conventional route to art was never an option for me. If the computer age had arrived 10 years earlier, I might have gone to art college but my entry into the art world lay dormant for 20 years.
The evolution of Photoshop paved the way for millions of previously ungifted appreciators of ‘art’ to get involved in creation, alteration and manipulation of imagery. Over the years, I have completed scores of courses on every aspect of Photoshop and utilised it in a plethora of situations in my work. I find the whole process enjoyable and highly rewarding.
